Job Description:
As a Baker's Assistant, you will provide invaluable support to our baking team in crafting delicious treats that capture the essence of our coastal surroundings.
You will assist with various tasks in the baking process, contributing to the creation of high-quality baked goods that delight our customers.
Responsibilities:
* - Preparation Assistance: Assist with measuring and preparing ingredients for baking according to recipes and instructions provided by the head baker.
* - Mixing and Kneading: Assist with mixing dough, kneading, shaping, and preparing dough for baking, ensuring consistency and quality in all products.
* - Baking Support: Help with loading and unloading oven trays, monitoring baking times, and ensuring that baked goods are cooked to perfection.
* - Cleaning and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and storing ingredients properly.
* - Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring ingredient levels, notifying the head baker when supplies need to be replenished, and rotating stock to ensure freshness.
* - Quality Control: Participate in quality control checks on baked goods, assisting in identifying any issues with taste, texture, or appearance and making adjustments as needed.
* - Team Collaboration: Work closely with the baking team, following instructions from the head baker and collaborating effectively to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
* - Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, assisting with inquiries, taking orders, and providing information about our products when necessary.
