*JOB SUMMARY:*
Provide superior customer service to our customers! Perform basic cleaning duties and food preparation in the Café, Production Kitchen, Juice Bar, and Cheese department, as assigned.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* * Serve Department product line to customers courteously and efficiently.
* Assist in the production, preparation, display and proper rotation of Department product line.
Duties may include slicing, cutting, processing, weighing, packaging, and disposal of food-related products.
* Restock clean cookware, dishes, cupssupplies, etc.
throughout shift.
* Backroom organization and sanitation.
* Maintain Department sanitation standards including cleaning and sanitation of equipment, tools, dishes, production and storage areas.
* General cleaning as directed including, but not limited to, walk-ins, stovetops, salad bar, soup bar wild meals case, juice bar, etc.
* Empty trash and recycling bins in department area as needed throughout and at end of shift.
* Sweep and mop all departments as needed.
* Receive and place in storage incoming Department product and supplies.
* Assist in Department training when assigned.
* Report security concerns immediately.
* Assist in Department inventories as directed.
* Meet/work with other Team Members to achieve Team/store goals.
* Other duties as assigned.
*_Safety and Sanitation_:* * Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness at all times.
* Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
* Practices proper lifting techniques and personal safety precautions.
* Maintains a clean, organized work area at all times.
* Maintains complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely.
* Watches store floor at all times for potential hazards (spills, debris, fallen items) and takes action as necessary or informs store MOD.
* If applicable, practices proper food handling including sanitizing of work surfaces, proper hand-washing, etc.
*_Interpersonal_* * Listens and communicates well with staff, managers, and guests.
* Accepts constructive criticism well.
Provides constructive criticism in an appropriate manner.
* Works well under pressure and maintains a positive and productive energy-level.
* Shows professionalism and poise when dealing with customers and co-workers.
