*About the Position:*
Wing is looking to immediately fill a full-time Spray Painter position on the day shift from 6AM – 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
If you have the proven ability to use HPLV paint system, prep for all kinds of spray paint jobs, handle the cleaning and maintenance of the spray area, we would like to speak with you! You will be coating high-profile military-grade combat rubber raiding crafts as well as recreational river rafts.
We are looking for someone who can excel in a fast-paced, deadline driven production environment while still painting a quality product.
We want someone who is a team player, yet can work alone if necessary.
We want someone who works safely, wears PPE, and can work in a noisy production plant with all of the chemicals necessary for the painting position.
We want someone who will be here on time and ready to work and who can be counted on each day with a “can do” positive attitude - and someone who understands that there may be overtime to meet production schedules.
Ideally, we want someone who has at least two-years experience with various forms of spray painting preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
This role is responsible for the following:
Operation, maintenance and use of paint spray equipment in a contained environment, selection of spray nozzles for required coverage parameters
Knowledge of HPLV systems and mixing requirements
Familiar with regulations and procedures for handling and storage of flammable materials
May examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications
Regulates spray gun and ventilates spray area according to temperature and humidity requirements
*Qualifications*
At least 2 years of experience as a painter using spray equipment
Preferred 3-5 years of experience
Experience maintaining paint and painting equipment according to instructions and procedures
Ability to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems as they arise
Strong, professional work ethic, deadline driven and quality conscious
Reliable and punctual attendance
High School Diploma or equivalent, or combination of relevant work/school
Experience reading and interpreting drawings and specifications preferred.
Experience in an industrial production environment strongly preferred
