We’re looking for a single-pet home for our ~6 year old, female heeler-pit bull mix, Macchi (short for Macchiato).
She’s a sweet, loving, playful, attentive, and active 48 lb dog whose favorite activities are fetching a ball and snuggling with her humans.
We need a new home for her because she guards resources, and has been aggressive with our other two dogs over the past 18 months of attempting to merge packs.
She’s also reactive to other dogs outside the home.
I can provide details of management tools, trainings (positive reinforcement only), and medications we've tried to get her to fit in.
She gets along great with humans, and although we’ve never had her around small children, her trainer reports that interactions with her children have been positive.
We’re hoping to find her a solo pet home allowing her to be free of her anxiety and live her happiest life.
Spayed and current on shots, has been crate trained.
