We are two Masters of Social Work students at Cal Poly Humboldt (Joseph Lindley and Laurel Coleman) who are completing our community project with the help of Nation's Finest and the V.

This project has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at Cal Poly Humboldt, IRB # 23-044.
We have focused on rural and Indigenous Veterans, their families, and the service providers who help them every day and thought that completing a needs assessment would give important community partners needed information on what our community members genuinely need.
We are writing to gauge community interest in completing a short survey or participating in a 30 to 45-minute interview that would help us better understand the essential needs of Indigenous and rural Veterans that many organizations have overlooked.
If you wish to complete our survey, you will be entered to win a $130 Webber Grill.
If you want to participate in an interview, you will receive a $20 gas or grocery store gift card.
