Hot Shot Driver

Duties: - Safely and efficiently operate a Ram 3500 or 5500 with a 40-45 ft flatbed.
-Know how to properly and safely secure cargo with chains, binders, straps - Load and unload materials or equipment onto trailers.
- Transport goods or materials to designated locations following established routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Clean inspections are a must - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, mileage logs, and any other required documentation.
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to receive instructions or updates on delivery schedules.
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment as needed.
Requirements: - Valid class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
-OTR experience is preferred -Flatbed experience is preferred - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and supervisors effectively.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
after orientation and training you will be able to take equipment home.
need to have the ability to be on the road 3 weeks each month.
having a place to park truck and trailer would be great, otherwise we will find a place for you.
