```Duties```
- Respond to service calls and provide roadside and towing assistance to customers
- Drive and operate a heavy duty tow truck to safely extricate, recover, load, transport, and unload vehicles and cargo
- Utilize manual and automatic transmission skills to operate various types of tow trucks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating the tow truck
- Using industry software and forms, maintain accurate records of service calls, including vehicle information and services performed, in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their needs and addressing any concerns.
Must have desire to help people.
- Promptly communicate with others in performing job duties.
```Skills```
- Experience preferred, or will train to operate a heavy duty tow truck
- Proficient in driving, recovery, loading and unloading vehicles and cargo
- Knowledge of automotive maintnenace techniques and ability to perform basic needs
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and ability to operate them confidently
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating a forklift for moving heavy loads is a plus
- Able to calmly and confidently handle difficult situations and customers in distress
