Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Ram 3500 or 5500 with a 40-45 ft flatbed.
-Know how to properly and safely secure cargo with chains, binders, straps
- Load and unload materials or equipment onto trailers.
- Transport goods or materials to designated locations following established routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Clean inspections are a must
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, mileage logs, and any other required documentation.
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to receive instructions or updates on delivery schedules.
Requirements:
- Valid class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
-OTR experience is preferred -Flatbed experience is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and supervisors effectively.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
We are a small family ran company, where you will be treated like a person and not a number.
We deeply value our drivers and work very hard on creating long term relationships to retain them.
We run OTR all the lower 48 states.
Drivers are out 3 weeks straight, 1 full week off straight.
All of the trucks are equipped with full size beds, so you will be able to sleep comfortably in the trucks.
We provide all the necessary tools and amenities to make this as comfortable as it can be.
Starting pay is 1,600 per week salary no matter what happens.
After a few months, We will revaluate your performance and there is room to earn more hence why it is 1600-2200 per week.
There is also a per diem pay for food reimbursement that is paid weekly this is added on top of the salary.
It is $20 per day, which comes out to an extra 140 per week.
Bonus for tarp and clean inspections $50-100 per occurrence.
